  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Gradually add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients, mixing with a spoon or your hands until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes, until smooth and elastic. If using a stand mixer, knead with a dough hook for 6-8 minutes.
  4. Lightly grease a clean bowl with olive oil, place the dough in it, and turn to coat. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.
  5. Once risen, gently punch down the dough to release the air. Divide it into two equal portions and shape each into a ball. Your dough is now ready to be rolled out and topped for your pizzas.
