Step-by-step- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). If using a pre-roasted duck, place it on a wire rack over a baking sheet.
- Brush the duck lightly with sesame oil (if using) for extra crispiness. Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and the duck is heated through.
- While the duck is heating, prepare your pancakes. Steam them in a bamboo steamer for 5-7 minutes, or warm in the microwave according to package instructions until soft and pliable.
- Slice the cucumber and spring onions into thin matchsticks and arrange them on a serving platter.
- Once the duck is ready, carefully carve or shred the meat and crispy skin into bite-sized pieces. Arrange on a separate serving platter.
- Warm the hoisin sauce slightly in a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl for easier spreading.
- To serve, spread a thin layer of hoisin sauce on a warm pancake, add a few pieces of duck, cucumber, and spring onions, then roll up and enjoy!

Make it last Refrigerator 3-4 days
Store leftover duck meat, pancakes, and vegetables separately in airtight containers. Hoisin sauce can be kept at room temperature or refrigerated if opened.
Freezer Not recommended for assembled wraps
Cooked duck meat can be frozen for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating. Pancakes are best fresh or frozen uncooked.
Reheat Stovetop/Microwave/Oven
Reheat duck in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until warmed through and skin crisps. Pancakes can be re-steamed or microwaved. Vegetables are best served fresh.
Chef’s Corner
- For extra crispy skin, pat the duck very dry with paper towels before roasting and consider a quick broil for the last few minutes, watching carefully.
- If you can’t find Peking duck pancakes, thin flour tortillas or even lettuce cups (for a low-carb option) work as substitutes.
- Serve with additional condiments like chili garlic sauce or a dash of black vinegar for adventurous palates.
